Scholarships

  • MSU Denver General Scholarship Applications offers hundreds of scholarships. Apply by March 1.
  • Students can explore external and private scholarships to assists with education expenses.

FAFSA and CASFA

  • FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) determines eligibility for federal financial aid programs, grants and scholarships.
  • CASFA (Colorado Application for State Financial Aid) is a safe alternative for non- FAFSA filers to apply for state financial aid.
  • Both applications should be completed by the March 31 priority deadline with a final consideration deadline of June 1.

Student Employment

On-campus student employment supports education, provides income, fosters community involvement and friendships, and cultivates professional skills.

Tuition Lock

Tuition Lock ensures that students’ tuition rates remain constant throughout their enrollment, providing financial predictability. Tuition is locked in for up to four years for first-time college students and for up to two years for transfer students.

MSU Denver Grant Opportunities

Roadrunner Promise guarantees free tuition and mandatory published fees for eligible Colorado resident students with a family income below a certain threshold. Indigenous and Native People’s Grant ensures Indigenous students’ tuition and mandatory published fees are fully covered through a combination of federal, state and institutional grants.
